We are a FREE monthly event that is open to everyone

At the repair café, our team of talented volunteers mend anything from electrical appliances to broken zips, as well as bicycles, china, shoes and boots and other household treasures.  We regularly also offer a garden tool sharpening service. If you can carry it in, we will have a look at it and fix it if we can

You can also join us for tea, coffee and tasty treats. Our café is open for people waiting for their item to be looked at, but more than that we are a community event and we welcome everyone who wants to come along and see what we do.  You’ll have the chance to chat with friends and meet new ones, or to sit and read magazines, and our baking will have you coming back for more!

The repair café is held on the first Saturday of every month from 2-5 pm. Last repairs are booked in at 4.30 pm

If you would like to donate to Go Local cic and support Lewes Repair Cafe please do so here.

We are at Landport Community Hub, Landport Road, BN7 2SU.

Getting here

We encourage our visitors to walk, cycle or come by public transport. The 127 bus stops nearby and links our venue with many parts of the town. If you do need to bring a car, please be considerate of our neighbours when you’re choosing where to park.

Accessibility

Our venue is accessible and we have a toilet with disabled access.  If you have a disability and need any assistance, including help with bringing your item for repair in from your car, please let one of the team know.

Pets

We welcome assistance dogs, but as we are a busy and sometimes noisy space where people are using tools, we have decided on a no pets policy.
